Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Chorus, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to create an account.

2. The service

Chorus shows how large language models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and similar) describe a business, tracks changes over time, and can email you summaries and alerts. Chorus is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any AI provider or by the businesses it describes.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and verify your email. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse or disrupt the service; access it without authorization; scrape or bulk-extract data beyond normal use; use it to harass a business or person; or use it in violation of law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

  • Plans. Basic is free and includes a bi-weekly summary email for a single business. Pro is $49 per month and includes bi-weekly summaries for up to five businesses plus an instant daily alert when Chorus detects potentially incorrect information. Plan features and prices may change on notice.
  • Billing. Paid plans are billed in advance monthly through Stripe using the payment method you provide. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not prorate partial periods.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you are responsible for applicable taxes.

6. Emails

By subscribing you consent to receive the emails associated with your plan. You can manage preferences or unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time via the link in each email or your settings. Transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing) are part of the service.

7. AI-generated content — accuracy disclaimer

Chorus surfaces and summarizes statements produced by third-party AI models and information gathered from public sources. These statements may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or fabricated (“hallucinated”). Chorus reports what the models say and how it changes; it does not verify or endorse the truth of those statements. Nothing in Chorus is professional, legal, financial, or business advice. Do not rely on Chorus as the sole basis for any decision. The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Intellectual property

Chorus, its software, and its original content are owned by Chorus Guide LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. Third-party names and marks belong to their owners.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chorus Guide LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Chorus Guide LLC harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate the service or your account for violation of these Terms or as needed to comply with law. You may stop using the service at any time and cancel your account from settings.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for disputes is the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
